Evangelist Betty Dean
Evangelist Dr. Betty Dean, originally from Benton Harbor, Michigan is an anointed woman of God who ministers healing, strength, and wholeness to the Body of Christ.
She is currently coordinator of the Women’s Department at New Life Church of God in Christ and sponsors “Women in the Word”, a ministry that encourages women to study and utilize the Word of God for self improvement, kingdom building and effective daily living.
Evangelist Dr. Dean is also president of the Southwest Third Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction COGIC Superintendents' Wives and is a dynamic prayer warrior for the International Church of God in Christ Women’s Convention appointed by the late Mother Elsie Shaw. She speaks and teaches in conferences, marriage seminars and revivals throughout the country as part of her God given assignment.
She is a graduate of Jordan College (School of Hair Design and Business) and was very successful as a cosmetologist and entrepreneur before going into full time ministry. She received an Honorary Doctorate degree from Midwest Theological University, is featured on the first cover of Women behind the Ministry magazine, and has been the recipient of multiple awards and accolades because of her proven leadership ability, integrity, and community involvement.
Evangelist Dr. Dean has been married to Bishop Robert Dean for over forty years. They have two sons, eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. She resides in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
